What do you like most about working at Heyden’s Gardens?
Our team at Heyden’s Gardens works very well together. There is a lot of comradery between staff members as well as with our customers. We are privileged to have the opportunity to work with gardeners of all levels of expertise, from beginners to experts. Gardeners are, in general, terrific people and whether they’re looking for a new houseplant, a seasonal hanging basket, a landscape tree, or gardening supplies we genuinely enjoy helping them achieve their gardening goals.
Why would you recommend someone work here?
Heyden’s Gardens is a great place to work if you enjoy learning about plants, being outdoors, and working with the public. Employees have the opportunity to work with a wide range of plants and plant care products, and there is always something new to learn. How many people get to come to work and be surrounded by beautiful flowers all day? We get to be outdoors on those magnificent summer days (but also on those cold rainy ones) and work physically hard enough that we can forgo a gym membership.
Personal Brief
Zannah has a strong interest in photography and feels very fortunate to be surrounded on a daily basis by the splendor of plants & gardens and to have the opportunity to capture their beauty.
She has been privileged to have her photographic efforts and enthusiasm rewarded with publication in several regional and national publications. She takes great pleasure in capturing the daily beauty of Heyden’s Gardens and sharing it via Social Media and the Heyden’s Gardens website.
When not sharing her passion for plants with customers at Heyden’s Gardens, Zannah spends her time with her family and with her menagerie of companion animals. She has a special fondness for birds and the pair of white doves, Bianca & Bradford, that reside in our conservatory during the summer months and spend the winter months with Zannah.
